Mender Affirming Class

At Imagine That & More, Mender Affirming is a 2 hour course all about celebrating sustainable fashion! Transform thrifted finds or garments you already own into pieces that truly reflect your style and identity. Instead of buying new, you’ll learn how to upcycle clothing through creative embellishments and approachable tailoring techniques that extend the life of your wardrobe.
We’ll explore embellishment methods like appliqué, beading, embroidery, patches, and trims to add personality and flair. For tailoring, we’ll cover practical fixes such as hemming or adding pockets — simple changes that make thrifted clothes fit better and feel more authentically yours.
