Learn to Knit Class #1
This is the perfect starter class to learn to knit. You will learn the two needle method of casting on. Then you will learn how to do the Knit Stitch and repeat it to make the Garter Stitch. If you would like to advance your skills after taking this beginner class, consider taking my Knitting #2 Class in which you will learn how to purl. And thus make a Stockinette Stitch.
Note, you will need to purchase your class 24 hours in advance of the class time. Cancellations 24 hours or more, will be eligible for credit or refund. Cancellations that occur less that 24 hours prior to the time of the class are not eligible for refund or credit. Thank you.

| Requirements: | You will need to bring or purchase a set of size 8 knitting needles, size 4 worsted weight yarn, and scissors. |

| Instructor Bio: | Beth's mother taught her to sew when she was just 5 years old. She's had to make most of her own clothes throughout her life due to her petite stature. She worked at Joann Fabrics for many years teaching countless projects in sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the looks in her student's eyes when they have completed something. She's a whiz at teaching kids. |
