Bag of the Month - Banana Bag



Create this fun zippered Banana Bag by Lazy Girl Designs to hold your crochet hooks, double-pointed knitting needles, colored pencils, pens, or even your sunglasses.

You will learn how to put in a zipper. You can also customize your bag with some simple quilting techniques to make your pattern pop! These are perfect for gift giving.


Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Need to know how to change the machine foot to the zipper foot to complete the bag.
Materials Included: Sewing machine rental available for use during class for $20.00
Requirements: Banana bag pattern to be purchased prior to the start of class from Imagine. Two 10" squares of coordinating fabric. Not ideal for directional prints. One 10" square Fusible Fleece (can be purchased at Imagine.) One 22" zipper, polyester, all-purpose, YKK brand recommended One Split ring, size 1" (for pull tab or use ribbon. Optional not required)
Instructor: Beth Krumhansl
Instructor Bio: Beth's mother taught her to sew when she was just 5 years old. She's had to make most of her own clothes throughout her life because of her petite stature. She worked at Joann Fabrics for many years teaching countless project in sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the looks in her students eyes when they have completed something.
