Fast & Fun 3 Yard Quilt Class
This class will use the Fast & Fun 3-Yard Quilt Books by Donna Robertson. You will make a lap-size quilt using 3 yards of fabric! You can pick one of 8 patterns: Brick Street, City Lights, Courtyard Quilts, Garden Path, Lickity Split, Park Place, Trellis Quilt, or Urban Chick.
You will learn how to measure and cut fabrics accurately, stitch a 1/4" seam allowance, various construction methods based on the pattern you pick to sew, and assemble a quilt top with skills needed for further quilting projects.
Note you will need to purchase your class 24 hours in advance of the class time. Cancellations 24 hours or more will be eligible for credit or refund. Cancellations that occur less than 24 hours before the time of the class are not eligible for refund or credit. Thank you.

| Requirements: | Book: Fast & Fun 3-yard Quilts by Donna Robertson available for purchase. Bring your own sewing machine, manual, foot pedal, and cords. Basic sewing kit: Straight and safety pins, scissors, tape measure, and seam ripper. Sewing supplies: Bobbins, neutral thread, rotary cutter, mat, and quilting ruler. We carry sewing supplies and a wide range of quilting fabrics. The book can be purchased at the beginning of the first class. | Instructor Bio: | Parker believes that anyone can do art. After all creativity is at the heart of our childhood. She is a modern quilter, historical costumer, and lover of vintage sewing. She comes from three generations of quilters and tailors and studied at NCSU College of Textiles. Go wolfpack! She is a transplant from Raleigh, North Carolina. She is excited to take on the north and bring the joy of textile arts to everyone she meets! |
