Adult Sew: Pillow Case Class
This is a great first-time project for learning to sew. You will make a pillow case with enclosed seams. If you are new to sewing or you are just looking to make a cute project to get your creative sewing juices flowing, this is the class for you. Making a pillowcase is unbelievably simple using the "Burrito Method" and then finishing it off with a beautiful French seam. Once you learn this technique, you will be making pillowcases for the entire family, friends, and friend's families too.

Requirements: | Bring your sewing machine and manual. Basic sewing supplies; Seam ripper, scissors, pins & 3/4 yd of cotton print. 1/3 yd of plain cotton. 1-1/2" Cotton Material for a Flange (Not Necessary only an Embellishment). All purpose cotton thread to match your material. |

Instructor Bio: | Beth's mother taught her to sew when she was just 5 years old. She's had to make most of her own clothes throughout her life, due to her petite stature. She worked at Joann Fabrics for many years teaching countless projects in sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the looks in her student's eyes when they have completed something. She's a whiz at teaching kids. |
